Class Mode
Classes are offered in person based on class schedule.
Out of town students can connect via zoom.

Class Policy
  1. All students are welcome to attend any number of classes of their level or levels below theirs. 
  2. If the student misses a class, it is absolutely essential for them to reach out to a classmate and cover the missed material. In addition, they may attend any other class of their level or level below theirs for extra practice. 
  3. I will arrange for a sub or give an assignment if I am unable to teach a class.

Kathak Certification

All classes are taught in compliance with syllabus prescribed by Bharati Vidya Peeth University, Pune. Students may take exams either in November or April depending upon their individual preparation. Students are assessed by external examiner sent by the University. Students earn certificate after clearing each level by Bharati Vidya Peeth University. 

Solo Manch Pravesh

After several years of training, student may choose to prepare for their debut as a solo artist -
​Kathak Manch Pravesh -
A one and half hour long program where the student demonstrates the entire repertoire of Kathak presentations.

Group Performances

Thematic dances are taught as part of regular classes. Students perform at local festivals in addition to school's annual recital.
